Written to be readable. This is the whole thing.
What you may do
- Use these materials anywhere within one school, district, agency, or organization.
- Edit, rewrite, rename, rebrand, and reformat them however you like.
- Put them on your letterhead and adopt them as your own board policy or district document.
- Reproduce them internally without limit, including for staff, students, and families.
- Share them with your own counsel, consultants, and board members working on your behalf.
What you may not do
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the files themselves.
- Publish them, edited or not, as your own template or toolkit product.
- Share them with other districts or organizations as files. Point them here instead.
- Post them to a public website, open repository, or file-sharing service.
The spirit of it
You bought a starting point so your organization can move faster. Use it hard. The only thing we ask is that another organization that wants the same head start comes and gets their own copy.
Multi-organization use
Service agencies, state agencies, consultants serving multiple clients, and anyone rolling a toolkit out beyond one organization need a broader license. Ask us; it is straightforward and usually inexpensive.
